JOIN US The Rio Rancho Symphonic Band is looking for skilled band musicians who can commit to weekly Tuesday evening rehearsals. Chairs in all sections are currently open to musicians of high school age to adult. Although we do not hold auditions, we encourage all proficient band musicians to come and be a part of this fun and exciting performance organization. Interested musicians may contact conductor John Emory at 250-1773 or e-mail at johnemory@aol.com. Click here to fill out the handy information form to receive e-mail updates and be added to our roster. We rehearse every Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 in the Cibola High School band room. OUR MISSION The Rio Rancho Symphonic Band is dedicated to the education and enrichment of the artistic lives of Rio Rancho and surrounding communities, and seeks to provide an extracurricular venue for musicians of all ages and calibers to mix and learn and grow. OUR VISION Our vision is to expand our performance sphere by providing a venue that includes youth and travel to underserved communities, an outlet for local composers and their works, and the historical restoration and preservation of out-of-print and lost works of music.
